Mission
Assistance League of Greater Wilmington is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization whose dedicated members develop and implement programs
that provide humanitarian
service to the Greater
Wilmington community.
“You will never know how
much you have helped. I just want you to know I really do appreciate
everything. And once again, thank
you so much.”
Vision
Newly developed and expanded philanthropic programs which meet community needs are supported by strong resource development programs, improved
membership satisfaction
and public awareness.

Assistance League is a national all-volunteer nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization, with more than 120 chapters nationwide that puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs. We are qualified with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
Assistance League touches the lives of more than 1.2 million children, seniors, families and others in need. Last year Assistance League chapters returned nearly $36 million to local communities across the country and invested more than 2.6 million service hours.
All funds raised are returned to the local community that our
chapter serves.
